Q: Is there gonna be international shipping, or is this strictly within the USA? If there will be International shipping (e.g. EU), how much would the shipping cost, given the current state of tariffs?A: Yes, international shipping is available! For domestic shipping within US and Canada, the blankets will arrive in the US by sea from China(where these blankets will be made), then be shipped to their respective customers. For international shipping, I have three plans:
- Plan A is to ship from the US.
- Plan B is that I will be hiring someone from China to ship the EU orders directly.
- Plan C is similar, but I hire a friend from the EU to handle the EU shipping. Before sending the invoices, I’m going to get a quote for each plan and see what’s the best method for international orders. That will also be communicated directly between you to make sure you’re ok with the shipping price!
Q: 50x60in is a bit small, do you plan to make a bigger one?A: So I thought about the size too. When making the prototype, I proposed a 60x80-inch one. However, the sampling fee was on the higher side, and scaling will make things complicated (pricing, shipping, packaging, handling, etc.). As a first-time project, I want to take this project safely and sustainably, too. However, I do have plans to make a bigger one, and if there is enough interest for the 60x80 one this round, I’ll start the sampling process and make a prototype. If that went well, I’ll open an order for that too!
